RE: Stable Build?
Hi, guys
Don't want to create a new thread, so when new pre-release build is going to be released?
My main target is stability, should i use september's 0.56b Pre-releases, or nightly builds are stable enough?

I'm going to use 2.0.3 client.

I always though that "stability" and "nightly" have opposite meanings Smile

RE: Stable Build?
yeah but since there is no release in three years we must use nightly builds. by the way nightly builds are very stable, i never had issues.

RE: Stable Build?
Ok, thanks. Anyway, any news on new stable build?

Also, do you use one version, or do you update it each week?

RE: Stable Build?
By using nightly builds you're contributing to the dev team to solve possible issues if there is any and it's a good way to keep your server up-to-date with the game changes. I'd suggest you to give it a try. These builds are pretty stable, but of course, there is always a risk for errors when new implementations are applied to support anything new and that is why you may keep track of the revisions and svn logs.

RE: Stable Build?
Also not wanting to create a new thread, I was wondering if anyone has a stable 56b build that "Can" support stygian abyss. I'm using the Nightly build from http://nightly.prerelease.sphere.torfo.org and it seems to randomly crash for no reason whatsoever. A few other things I have noticed:

1. Players can click and drag a corpse. The the corpse will disappear and the player will get a sysmessage saying "You cannot pick that up". Howver if the player says .update the corpse will re-appear on the ground.
2. Gargoyles have choppy animation. It's like there is animation missing or something. When I activate "Flight" ability, the gargoyle character instantly appears in the air like an animation was skipped or something.

I'm in need of a good quality Sphereserver.exe that is recent enough to support Stygian Abyss. Smile

RE: Stable Build?
The support for SA and HS is there, still not full but it does work quite well.
Report your bugs here: http://tracker.sphere.torfo.org/bugs/main_page.php

We already know about the second one so you may only report the first and monitor or comment the other
