I'm kinda with Valios here, if only for sake of keeping things professional.

In any case I have to say, Murphy's Law always applies to griefing. If they can, they will. If you have complete control over who plays on the shard, that's fine. But I play the Dr Who MMO and for about two weeks we could use our free Chronons (game points for missions) to pay for friends. It was supposed to make the game more social. They had to pull it because people would make dozens of free mule characters just to boost their main one's quest progress... and there are missions that don't even cost Chronons to play. Not many people did this, but it was enough.

Likewise, this is why there's a wait on deleting chars. So you can't just spam newbie gold to the ground by recycling the slot and empty the new char's inventory.
