Sphere Suite 2013

SphereService
The original idea is from Ben who developed an application to relaunch sphere when crashes occurs. I took this idea for a personal project because I liked the main concept and thought I could improve it a little bit more adding some features. I reworked it from scratch in a .NET language since Ben is a concurrent C++ user and I tend to avoid this language unless it's necesary.

Ben, I hope you don't mind... <3
This will be very useful for live shards

Description:
Quote:SphereService:

- Relaunch SphereSvr.exe everytime it closes/crashes (Option to Enable/Disable it included)
- Automatically runs at windows startup executing at the same time the SphereSvr.exe (Option to Enable/Disable it included)
- Silent run on background and minimized to Tray
- Added new Icon and windows form

NOTE: In order to exit the application you must check the checkbox "OFF" or go to your notification area on the taskbar, right-click on the icon of SphereService and select "Exit"

I don't mind at all that you re-worked it... it was an old program I had done, and just happen to find it while looking through my files Big Grin I had no plans in near future to improve it Wink

btw, what's wrong with C++?

There is nothing wrong, it's more about personal preferences but that preference is also conditioned by what is being worked on specifically. In terms of syntax I prefer c# for example wich is a mix of c++ and java, visually more clean and modern.

RE: [Tool] SphereService
Valios, I have a problem here.
I set the program to stay minimized, but when the server is restarted by it, it opens again, don't stay in tray...
Could you fix it?
If its minimized, keep minimized.

Thanks alot for that program!

RE: [Tool] SphereService
it says Cannot find SphereSrv.exe in current location
My Sphere is renamed to aws.exe
But then i renamed to SphereSrv.exe and didnt work neither.

It would be nice if has some options for parameters
like SphereSrv.exe /s C:/test/aws.exe

EDIT:
fixed, i was truing sphereSRV instead *Svr.exe
