Ok, forget the last part about using your external IP, that is not the way it works. I'm misinforming you saying this because for logical reasons what you're doing is forwarding connections to your computer. You just have to be sure that the IP you have set there is the correct IPv4, maybe the 4th number is not the right one. If you have other devices connected to the same router you may know that all of them will automatically get a different variation to that number and you have to use the one that is generated by the main router. And again, provide to your clients the right external ip so they can access to your computer. I'm sure your problem is related to all the devices, computers and routers you have there, you have to play with them a little bit more. The link I posted in the previous post could give you an idea
