sea monsters
Simple question, probably simple answer, I may even have known it once....

Why does c_sea_monster_old crash the crap out of my client whenever I spawn it?

RE: sea monsters
Oh. Simple. It is not defined correctly in body_conv file and mob_types. It is considered obsolete.

RE: sea monsters
I think Naz said you can convert those files and fix it to show up if I remember right. At the moment I believe a frost ooze is hiding its animation.

RE: sea monsters
What was it? Why not use another creature?

I use the new kraken animations for land snails... and sea serpents on land for sand worms Tongue
Should always have a back up plan sir Big Grin

RE: sea monsters
It wasn't completely a giant slime. It's attack animation was a giant undead fish Tongue

RE: sea monsters
I get that. I was upset when they removed its use. I haven't found a great substitute for it yet on that aspect (I had a sin npc who used it for a giant slime animation). I think that is the one thing I wish EA would add to the client... sizing for NPC's. There are quite a few I'd like to make bigger/smaller.
