Since the last nightlty still use sqlclient.so.16 and for some linux distro it can be hard to find the good package! you can download the attachment here , open a terminal and enter

cd /home/downloads (or anywhere your downloads are)
unzip libmysqlclient.so.zip /usr/lib

Hope it can help

if your box do not have unzip..
sudo apt-get install unzip

I dont know why sphereserver is using this file.

Could you please give me some information about this file ? Or maybe you can give a link that i can get info from.

This dll gives Sphere the API to do MySQL connections, without it it wouldn't be any MySQL... however it's required by the .exe regardless of if you use it or not.

Why use specifically the version 16? There is a problem with recent libmysqlclient.so? I have libmysqlclient.so.18 (because is the version that comes with my dist).
