I know that it is not legal to rip off other monster/npcs from other games but can we post tutorial how to do this?

I only know how to put rip them of from diablo and infinty games like baldurs gate 1&2, icewind dale and so on but I think there are a lot of other games out there where we can rip graphics/monster from them
maybe the community will share the name and which program they use?
can we post it?

I think that even modifying mul files it's illegal , but still there are guides

Yeah, sorry, though I already answered it, yes you can. I mean, you can give a link or two about the info of how to do it or how to manage to get some images. But remember that we're around Ultima Online, so this section is about MUL files.

maybe you open a section only for graphics?
Or I will post at the end of my tutorial two lines how to patch the new ripped off graphics in your mulfile *g*

Well, actually I never used ripped animations/arts/textures from other games. I took from UOKR some of the arts that were not used anymore in SA like buildings and foliages tilearts that I considered very impressive, and most of the other work for terrain textures and water, I worked all of these adaptations from scratch. But with all the new implementations being made by EA I think that the best option for those who are working with custom arts is to have a custom client too, but that's too much at least for me with the short time I can spend on it. I stopped working on this patch like 2 years ago. Maybe you can remember some pics I posted on the old forums about it.

P.S: Wait for Shiryux or Ben to open a new forum for tutorials to create your thread

I know it but it stopped I think.
Never checked it if this is a good client and which new things it can do.
