RE: Windows question
The host have 1 gb ram 1 core, and 7 consume a lot of resources. I try to instal w2k3 std x86 for more stability.

I understand you, but i have a new server with between 30 - 50 players online every day. i need time to stabilize me. In this moment i am fixing bugs and implementing new things, is not time to go Linux, not now.

I'll try with W2K3 STD SP2 x86.

thanks

RE: Windows question
Honestly if you pick something like ubuntu won't find the transition that tough, plus its not like sphere runs any differently.

If you are having issues with the amount of ram or the processor power you could try something like peppermint or even puppy those 2 are very light on resources thus freeing up more for your server. Puppy will actually install and full run from a usbdrive

RE: Windows question
its okay since sphere uses only one core for main thread, more cores mean nothing (expect if there are other things you using in your vps). ram usage will increase with years (more items and chars) but it take years if you dont have 200-300 players.
