Wall of stone
Hello everyone, Could someone help me solve following problem if i cast Wall of Stone magic i can cast magics but player or monster can't get to me, How to solve this problem?

Player in my sever report this bug to be fixed, so it works for normal players not only for gms

ahh sorry,

Well summarizing :
A player cast a stone wall
The other players can't move or they don't just have the line of sight?
If it's the latter, the stone wall caster still have the line of sight ?
Also your stonewall items looks like floor!

If it's the latter, the stone wall caster still have the line of sight ?-> Didn't get this one ...

Also your stonewall items looks like floor! -> I have added to my client PvP patch so Wall of stone doesnt look so big and all trees are choped down and so on ..


Just tested and i can also hit tru wall with bow ... Also i was wondering mby with my Features in Sphere.ini is allowing to do these things.

line of sight is computed differently based on the Sphere.ini settings you have selected... some of those settings consider the HEIGHT of an object.

Height of an object typically comes from the mul or uop file... so if you just replaced the height=20 object with a height=1 object in you modification of the mul/uop file, that explains why people can see over (and shoot over) your wall. Maybe you can override the height in your ITEMDEF by setting HEIGHT=20 ...but if that doesn't work, you need to fix your mul/uop file.

I just downloaded and insteled fresh client but still it cast tru stone wall so i think something wrong in my server no my server client patch

i think what ran is trying to say is you are using an item in ur wall that by default has a very low height, therefore according to what LoS setting you have in the ini players and monsters can still cast/attack over the item, so you either need to tweak ur ini settings, tweak your itemdef, or edit the mul/uop files to reflect a taller item for the particular item u are using, or of course, use a bigger item. . . .
