Spellbook Client crash?
I'm very new with sphere, so I'm just attempting to get a simple server running with the default community scriptpack. The server comes up fine - client logs in fine, but when any spellbook is dub-clicked, the client crashes - can anyone direct me to a fix for this issue? Cry

RE: Spellbook Client crash?
Do u have the TOL resdisp active on sphere.ini? If it does put it to resdisp 7... and create another account to check the problem. Create it after sphere.ini is edited.

RE: Spellbook Client crash?
If you are using latest nightly you need to put AutoResDisp=1 on sphere.ini. Also, what client and sphere version are you using?

Without responses with your SphereVersion and ClientVer, we cannot help. But they are right. Set AutoResDisp= to the value needed to check for your client you use.

RE: Spellbook Client crash?
No clue what sphere version - w/e came with the latest download that's available from the sites link. UO client 7.0.49.2 - I have no clue what the TOL resdisp even is. I tried setting AutoResDisp to 1 and 7 , with the same results when making a new account each time. Anytime a casting book is double clicked to open it, the client crashes.
