Bug Map on 56d problem
The map doesn't seem to be working for me, im falling off the map when walking in dungeons and etc.

Apparently it's because i'm using the latest version of ultima online, is there any way to use this version with sphere without me having these problems? Npcs when walking (in dungeons i noticed), they fall off the map, some walk in the "black area" of the map.

I believe this is a problem with mul files (uop files)

I liked some things in client 7.0.80.0 (especially the character status bar), I was wondering if I can use it

tiledata and map[X]Legacy.uop files got changed on UO HS (I don't know exactly the client version), and sphere is not fully compatible with this new file format yet

Same goes for new TOL multis where for some unknown reason OSI decided to abandon multi.mul leaving it with old multis and add all new multis on an new MultiCollection.uop file, and sphere is also not compatible with MultiCollection.uop

So to avoid these problems on live server it's recommended use ML/SA files instead HS/TOL files, and also avoid use TOL multis (MULTIDEF >= 0147e)

jexnico, try using UO v. 7.0.50: 7.0.50
It has not completely changed files, like the latest version of UO. Hopefully it will help you.

Thanks for the reply Coruja, are there any plans for the sphere to use the latest expansion of ultima online?

Honestly these .uop files are really weird. I already tried to deal with these files some time ago but with no luck

Also tried to check SphereServer experimental branch to check if these changes can be ported but it also doesn't have support for latest .uop map changes (just type ".go holy city" and you will get stuck) and new TOL multis (MultiCollection.uop)

Yes, the latest version of the client, that is, its files, is bad. EA Games has changed something about this and it can't be edited. therefore, older versions of the UO edition are better. MultiCollection .uop is a big problem. Although one programmer solves this file even on ServUO, it has not found anything yet. For using old multis files it is good to use UO version 7.0.35 or 7.0.36.

Just convert the maps to .mul with Uop packer plugins for UOFiddler and use an other client like OrionUO, CrossUO or ClassicUO.

I use with no problem client 7.0.74.72 with uop transfer to mul with OrionUO & CrossUO and everything is working very good.
