I don't think you can, because Razor does it client side by tricking the client into receiving the "day light level" packets.

So, to fix it you'd have to somehow disable Razor itself.

I'm looking into breaking Razor on my server by using a hacked client that breaks razor, and only allowing the hacked client to be the one that logs in, but I'm not sure if it'll work yet.

If you want to go that route, and I figure out how, I'll give you the info

UseNoCrypt=0 in sphere.ini usually does the trick, although players can still login with razor with an encrypted client. I wouldn't worry about it as long as you can patch in any of the errors that razor creates, not that is done create much at all, I'd worry more about TEOT, Injection and EasyUO, all of which use unencrypted clients. EasyUO is the least to worry about but it does have potential.

I guess that the Easy UO, Teot and injection can be... advertible? you can figure out when someone it's abusing of it... But.. yes, it's a REAL problem.

And...

There is the Razor, with some features that do, some spells default of ultima online, get's DESTROYED. [Night sight = useless now]
maybe there's a way. Im only get angry with the Scavenger and Light Levels; Maybe the others features are great..

I miss the old times with UOASSIST, that was the best time of Ultima Online... I remember that you get a monster to see the world like a live player when you was dead Tongue

Let's face, Nightnight was always useless. Unless the player willingly turns on Dark Nights it hardly matter. Also you can just hold down alt or whatever to highlight all items. Like the item counter, it's helpful but doesn't really let them cheat.

So I implemented miss chances in darkness. Now torches and nightsight have a definite use and if someone wants to Razor hack, well THEY can see, but their character still can't and now they don't know how limited their character's vision is.

Current Projects: Necromancy SCP overhaul. Custom Faction AI/System. Imbuing.
