Items in multis not being send to client.
Some items within a multi are not being sent to the client until they stand on that multi.

The MultiSight flag I have tried both on and off, still happens, we have always had this off and not been a problem before. Only since changing from a 2010-2013 nightly.

NotMuteHouseSpeech is on (meaning to not mute it).

This happens on player houses mainly, but also some multis placed on static roofs do not show until you go up there.

e.g. I am on a roof with a pentgram/mark zone multi, which teleports me off the roof. When teleported i no longer see the one on the roof.

e.g.2. I cast a wall on the door steps of a players house (stone wall as an example). I can see it when it is created, but if i run off screen and run back, it is not sending it to the client. I can stand right next to it and not see it. Meaning I can then step 'on' to the stone wall and reach the door of the house. Only when i step on to the multi does it show, which is too late.. this means if during a fight a player walls the door of a house, all the guy being chased has to do is run off screen and back on, and then he can walk right over the wall and safely in to his home... Sad

try to restart server after removing the of_osimultisight.

if you want to use of_osimultisight, but special items to appear you can give them tag.alwayssend=1 like:

[itemDEF 03946]
//field of energy
DEFNAME=i_fx_energy_field
TYPE=t_spell
CATEGORY=Animations
SUBSECTION=Energy Field
DESCRIPTION=@
DUPELIST=03947,03948,03949,0394a,0394b,0394c,0394d,0394e,0394f,03950,03951,03952,03953,03954,03955,03956,03957,03958,03959,0395a,0395b,0395c,0395d,0395e,0395f,03960,03961,03962,03963,03964

on=@create
tag.alwayssend=1

of_osimultisight has been off since forever. and restarted about 30 times since launch while in beta. I only turned it on yesterday to test with it switched on.. Ive turned it back off and restarted since.. still happens.

Any other setting that may cause this to become stuck 'on'? Or anyone else on a nightly from around the 9th Jan can test this?

I'll test on a newer build.. but cant imagine thats changed. Maybe its an issue on linux build? Or maybe Im missing something Big Grin

Just saw this:

-Fixed #2131: Too many packets sent from multis.

Could this fix have corrected it? No idea...
