Dialog - text, more lines
How can I force the text to continue on the second/third/... line, if it's longer?
Code:
[dialog d_message_receiver]
0,0
resizepic 100 200 3600 265 250
page 0
htmlgump 120 250 220 150 0 1 1
button 260 405 0f7 0f9 1 0 1

[dialog d_message_receiver text]
gggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

RE: Dialog - text, more lines
dhtmlgump 120 250 <maximum pixel-length of the row> <20 for each row> 1 0 <def.BFONT>color="#444444">Your text<def.BFONTE>

Example :

dhtmlgump 120 250 150 60 1 0 <yourtext>

--> 120 = x-coordinate in the gump
--> 250 = y-coordinate in the gump
--> 150 means : the width of the html-gump is 150 pixels
--> 60 means that the gump is 3 Lines tall (60/20 for each line)
--> the "1" means, that you want to use a scrollbar
--> the "0" means, that you dont want to use a standard-background in the htmlgump

RE: Dialog - text, more lines
I'll try it tomorrow, but I don't understand it. Why would you need scrollbar when you always make a field for exact number of lines you want.

For example, I want scrollbar, 10 lines and only 3 lines high. How to do that?

RE: Dialog - text, more lines
Shidhun: Tried, doesn't work.

Mordaunt: You have 10 lines of text and box(field), which is only 3 lines high - thats why you use scrollbar... In this case you said - make box 3 lines high and have 3 lines of text. 5 lines, 5lines high box(field). What would be the scrollbar for?

Anyway, you must somehow use that dorigin, I guess, but i don't know how.

Code:
dhtmlgump 120 250 60 60 1 0 gggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

RE: Dialog - text, more lines
So make the scroll bar variable 0 then you won't have one, I would have thought that was obvious...
