Client 7.x.x issue - walk through walls
Hi everybody, today I faced a strange and huge bug related to the client.exe version 7.x.x. The fact is that using those clients I can walk through walls and other statics, simply using a different "statics.mul" from those server-side. Many versions tested (from 7.0.20.0 to 7.0.23.1).

I'm using Sphere 0.56c [Sep 21 2013 (00:05:44), internal build #1630].
The problem doesn't persist with older clients (6.x.x).

Besides, the 7.0.23.1 version (the last compatible with muls, and appearently the most stable) crash if I try to login on a local server, but works properly logging on remote server. (EDIT: with sphere 56c build 1631 the client doesn't crash anymore)

actually, the latest sphere is the one he has, .56c

i tried on 7.0.7.1 and it doesnt seem to be doing this to me, altho technically you have always been able to switch the static file out and walk thru some things, even since 55i and client 2.0.3, i dont think its something anything can be done about on their end, im sure u could script something to stop it.

also be sure the statics files server side are the right ones, if u have bad static files server side it really wont matter what u have running client side

i am running 7.0.3.0 and its very stable and is compatible with the muls.

I'll give a try to the client version you're running, and I'll make some tests with older sphere builds.

Why use an older sphere build? The result will be the same...
If a client has different game files than the server there are always going to be these issues.
