Unless they sort those graphics out it's going to never make that $1m back - which is exactly why they are making the community pay for it, they damn well know they won't ever make the money, therefore won't invest any more than they get from kickstarter from this point onwards.

It probably sounds like I am being harsh on Lord British here... but if he thinks he can release such an awful looking game after even TR failed, he has another thing coming if he thinks it is going to do well

Who cares about graphics? graphics were NEVER a long lasting thing in a game. if i ask my friends, which are their favourite games, it are titles like

Tetris, Zelda (SNES), Super Smash Bros. (N64), Tekken (PS1), Ultima Online, Half Life 1(!) + Counter Stike, Warcraft II, etc. And about newer shooters: there is e.g. CoD 4, which was awesome, just because of the gameplay and the never versions sucked.

I will be excited, because Richard Developes in the right direction. How good it will be in the end is something totally different.
