@Darksun, i'm using tags. once they begin a skill it tags the skill on their char unless its already there, then on=@skillgain it adds exp , then when you level up it raises the amount needed to level up. each skill level up gives you 1/5 chance of gaining the primary or secondary stat of that skill, and +10 in that skill.
i wanted to make it so the level wasn't an arbitrary number that didn't reflect on the character
all skills/crafting/kill exp also goes to the total overall level of the character. so when you look at a character level 2, you can expect him to have a few skills going, level 4 you can expect a guy whos got maybe a some gm skills and has spent some time in dungeons, level 10 you can expect a character of 7gm skills on an osi server who's got some good gear.

not a lot of people on here know the truth but yeah, its me.
Thanks Htid4life! it'll be fun to see the reception it gets and work with players to smooth out any unforseen issues. a lot of the systems have had testing in previous verisons of the server, so i dont think there will be too many major issues.
