ciao beli!

About shields cloacks and various armor shoes you can fix that with
[itemdef blablabla]
all your things
armor= 0
type= t_armor or t_hide_armor (if i'm not wrong)

on=@equip
src.modar += value

on=@unequip
src.modar -= value

you can start from here and remodulating your entire armor set value.
