Sphere can read txt... shure, scp is text as well, but .txt is ignored by sphere, unless you explicit tell it to read it (not shure if this works from spheretables tho)
no problem saving it... well, did you modify the scripts with Sphere itself? Never tried this. Other Progs might change the extention without telling you, no problem with saving, but sphere won't read it. or worse, it is saved as scp, but in unicode format or thelike.
if you really just changed regions, something with this file is wrong (assuming Sphere was running correctly before!)
and if you changed it back (not put in a proper copy of the original) the only thing i can imagine to cause those errors is the file format / extension
check the log and see if region is loaded
