I was with this problem that made me activate advancedlos http://forum.spherecommunity.net/Thread-sight-bug

I had to edit tile data, on this advancelos the spells were passing even trough house windows!!

That could work. I just looked and saw that tflag is writable, I originally thought it was only readable. Just bares in mind when you change an itdemdef you will affect all iterations in the world.
