[Solved]Animation glitches while mounted
Does somebody else experience this animation glitches while performing actions (casting, fighting) while riding a mount ?
I have noticed that they appear since client 5 something and they are still in the client 7.41.1 (the most recent).
Client older than 5 doesn't have this animation glitches.
Most of them are noticeable only when you are facing a particular direction

Examples :

Casting

Combat

Anyway it seems it actually just applies to horses and desert ostard


Fixed ! Seems like that new installations comes with wrong anim value in the ship items that represents the mounts ( really i tried a lot of installation).
So if you get those glitches open the tiledata, search the ship parts, and change the anim value to the real id of the mount.
An example later

I have two problems - one is similars to yours.

A long time ago someone gave me a moose-animation. I just tried to made it rideable.

First problem: I took animationslot 222 (0xde) for this. And i can only move on water. Big Grin
Second problem: i have glitches as you described them.. but client 4.0.0c - maybe because of the water-problem?

all i know if you put something gargoyle on, theres no HUMAN animations for it....


all the elf stuff works on humans, but not the gargoyle

Oh i have an animation and it's displayed fine. Its just got cut off while running and produces "artefacts". I will move the animation to an other slot. I guess the slot is bad.

My glitches were caused because the anim value of the related "mount-item" pointed to a different anim.

Example:
The light brown horse item (03e9f) had an anim value of 840 instead of 200 (the light brown horse animation), the anim value can be changed in the tiledata tab in UoFiddler.
