We are an international discussion forum here. Christmas is beautiful for someone, for someone unpleasant and for the other average. You do not have to answer. But, what dinner do you have on the evening of the 24th?
In the Czech Republic, it is a fried and covered carp in grated roll, potato salad and beer. Another is, but this is the most popular dinner.

it is a Catholic holiday, in Russia the majority (Orthodox Christians) celebrate Christmas on January 7
the main winter holiday with Santa Claus and gifts we have-new year
so, 24th or 25th it's just another work day
