Sphere vs Sphere Nightly Lumberjack issue. - Lano - 08-20-2018 12:07 AM

Hello.

If I run the Normal sphere version (latest but not nightly) My lumberjacking does not seem to work.

If I run the Nightly my lumberjacking works, but all my custom tooltips do not.

I prefer to run the stable/normalversion, any ideas what to do to get Lumberjacking working?
I see there has been some topics about this on the forum, but none of them really seem to end up with a solution.

Is there one or serveral files I can try to copy paste from the Nightly build into the stable, to see if that fixes it?

probably you're talking about sphere 56c?

56d nightly is better than 56c, the "pre-release" / "nightly" on name is just to show that one build is a milestone (development had ended) and the other is the current build in development. This doesn't means that one build is stable and the other not. Both works fine but the latest build will always have more features, improvements, bugfixes, etc

so maybe it's better keep your server on 56d and just fix the tooltip problem (which probably is something wrong on your scripts). To move from 56c to 56d you just need to replace SphereSvr.exe, sphere.ini, sphereCrypt.ini, sphere_defs.scp, sphere_msgs.scp, sphere_name.scp and spheretables.scp
