Error character creation on VPS server - Asavar - 11-05-2017 06:14 AM Hi and thank you for reading, This is actually my last try at making the server run. I have been working on and off for the past years on a sphere 55R4.0.2 server (I know it's outdated but too many scripts depends on that system). I am ready to go live. Server runs perfectly on my PC. I bought an OVH subscription with Windows Server 2012. I can connect. No port forwarding problem. I can login. I can enter game with previously created chars BUT : I can't create new characters. I keep getting this error : "19:54:CRITICAL:Exception code=0c0000005, addr=0fffff290, in Server OnTick 19:54:ERROR:test5 (22c):Bad Msg(31b9f84) Eat 104 bytes, prv=0d9, type=4" Client is 2.0.3. I paid for a month so that's my timeline I've read everything I found on google before asking. Sorry. Thank you, this is my last hope. Edit for whole login sequence : "13:15:224:Client connected [Total:1] ('127.0.0.1' 1/1) 13:15:224:Login 'test9' 13:15:10c:Client connected [Total:2] ('127.0.0.1' 1/2) 13:15:224:Client disconnected [Total:1] ('127.0.0.1' 1/1) 13:15:10c:Login 'test9' 13:15:CRITICAL:Exception code=0c0000005, addr=0fffff290, in Server OnTick 13:15:ERROR:test9 (10c):Bad Msg(31c9ccc) Eat 104 bytes, prv=0d9, type=4" The exact same server on my own computer allows character creation. This one bugs right after I chose where to spawn (Map -> next). RE: Error character creation on VPS server - Asavar - 11-06-2017 02:16 AM I found the error. No explanation though. The bug occurs when using the TEOT fixed spheresvr.exe : Sphere Server v. 0.55 R4.0.2 (Fixed by FXD Team) When I use the classical (open to TEOT exploit) spheresvr.exe, I can create a character. It only occurs on VPS. No problem on my computer... |
