Enhanced client and UOP file editor - Gil Amarth - 06-29-2017 08:11 PM I can´t find actual information about this topics, I have been away of Sphere for a couple of years and I am thinking about retaking my project. What is the actual status of the Enhanced Client in Sphere? Is it functional, playable, can be run on a normal server, or it´s better to remain in the classic client for now? I really prefer classic client, but playing in low resolution this days can be a bit tough. Another question, what is the actual status of .uop file editors, there are any new tools to edit the files, or it is better to use old tool for .mul files? If we need to use old mul editors, there is any good tool to convert .mul files to .uop? Last time I tried, there were only crude tools with very basic functionality to convert .uop to .mul, but that way was a bit unpractical to me, and not useful if you wanted to use your own maps. Sorry if this questions have been recently answered, but I can´t find anything about this topics. Regards, and long live to Sphere! ![]() RE: Enhanced client and UOP file editor - darksun84 - 06-29-2017 09:25 PM Latest classic client, i think from 7.0.52, supports up to 1280 * 720 ! Best tool to convert from uop to mul is the plugin from uofiddler i think RE: Enhanced client and UOP file editor - Gil Amarth - 06-29-2017 09:55 PM The problem of using classic client 7.0.52 is that you are restricted to use .uop files, and if UOFiddler only allows you to convert .uop to .mul... then you can only use the default map and not a custom one. ![]() RE: Enhanced client and UOP file editor - darksun84 - 06-30-2017 12:59 AM I am using a custom map with uop files, just convert it. With uo fiddler you can convert back from mul to uop, just put the same file Map.mul file when it ask for the IDX file. RE: Enhanced client and UOP file editor - Gil Amarth - 06-30-2017 04:12 AM Thank you very much. The other question. Anyone know how good/bad works the enhanced client in 056d? |
