SCP Search - Leonidas - 01-24-2017 11:43 AM

I used a program about a month ago that would allow me to search for anything within the scripts folder. If I typed "i_gold" it would scan all the files and tell me which files contain "i_gold". I THOUGHT it was called SCP Search or Finder, but I cannot find this damn program anywhere. Anyone know where I can get this?

you can do it using the search bar on windows file explorer

by default it doesn't search .scp files content, but you can easily change this. Just type "indexing options" on windows start menu, click on Advanced, open "File Types" tab, find SCP type and change "index file properties only" to "index file properties and content"

PS: after click OK, it will take some few minutes until windows update the search index to find results on scp files

I had no idea I could change that to find contents inside a file. Thank you.

I use notepad++, this has a feature that that does exactly what you want. It's a very clean and easy to look interface also.

i use Agent Ransack to search for and inside files. For me is the best solution i can't work without that.
