When changing the max distance for archery in sphere.ini, nothing changes in-game. It's always at a max of 10 tiles.

The Range attribute of an archery weapon always override the ArcheryMaxDist and ArcheryMinDist.
All weapons comes with the range attribute already set in their item definition.
