About clients file structure, patches, and client binarys - randypfau - 11-29-2014 05:34 PM

ok, plz correct me if im wrong... any retail copy of ultima previous to the release of kingdom reborn had the same client file structure.. then kingdom reborn rebuilt an entire new client file system where certain .mul files didnt exist anymore and were replaced with .UOP files and the new kingdom reborn file structure will not support support any of the previous client (exe binarys) to run?

so in conjuction with sphere it is best for us to maintain the original pre-UOKR file structure and manually patch any mulfiles though conversions of the .UOP files to .mul?

or is everyone from here on out using kingdom reborn clients and if they have to do any mul work they covert .uop to mul and back again?

I think no one use UOKR clients but maybe the Enhanced Clients.

The files changed to uop after 7.0.24 I think, I keep with client version below this number.
