Questions - nedra - 02-07-2014 05:52 PM Hi developers, i have some questions about sphere, Which platform ( windows, linux ) is the best for sphere ? Can i test sphere with fake logins without real users ( like bot ) for lag, etc. ? And i need disable Easy UO and etc. programs how can i do this ?. Best regards, Thank you. RE: Questions - darksun84 - 02-07-2014 08:02 PM About Easy UO, I am 99.999999999999% sure that there is no way to block it ! RE: Questions - Shidhun - 02-07-2014 09:24 PM Platform Sphere works on both, but most Hosts use Windows as a platform, so this is (in most cases) the desired Sphere-Version. But generally, it is up to you Fake Logins There are ways (or Clients?) which allow multiple Instances of active Clients. So in general.. yes it is possible As for my experiences.. Lag isn't so much of a problem if you don't use to many dynamic Items (Put custom structures in the Static-Files !) Create some "Storage"-Items, to avoid Mass-Items (Ex.: I created an almanac to store Spellscrolls . This had an good effect on Itemcount) As for EasyUO, it seems to me, that darksun is right. Sadly ... The only solution i see is, that you script some functions to change normal script behaviour (resource gathering, etc) or to add some "prompt" with Checks. On a shard, which i used to play, there was a check when returning a BOD. They inserted a Random-Gumppic into a dialog. Then you needed to give an answer what gumppic it was. This was annoying as hell, especially when you didn't use EasyUO. (No Benefits, but annoying Checks for "good" players) But i think you get the Idea. So my summary is : The only "solution" is, to recreate some script, so that players would have to write their own EasyUO-Scripts. Most won't do this RE: Questions - Extreme - 02-08-2014 12:01 AM To avoid EUO, you need to create a third party program to block EUO communication with clients. There are some turkish and international that have them. RE: Questions - nedra - 02-10-2014 08:05 PM Thank you @Shidhun. |
