So Ben and I have uploaded links to donation buttons INDIVIDUALLY for any user willing to donate. These buttons are in our signatures. Other developers might do the same. As you all know, we are not paid for working on the hard code at all. This work takes time from our lives. Same with providing quality script systems to users.
I am not saying you need to donate, but I am asking if one of us does something you feel has earned donations; please do so if you can. This compensates for our time working on Sphere. We don't run personal servers that allow for a player base to help fund us. We work solely for you all; the users.
As you all know I have advertised before I could code for money. Well, at this point; we are stretched thin between the hard code, public relations, soft coding base packs, and other various systems to SShare for you all to use. Again, we do not get paid to do this work. It would be appreciated and it would help a lot.

This makes as much sense as any server taking donations, at least as much.
Am I to undestand we have to donate directly to you or another Dev? Nothing wrong with that but some people might like to be able to donate to Sphere and have it divided up appropriately rather than diviying up payments themselves.

Ben and I agreed this was the best way. We are not splitting cash between other developers who are not active. Plus people would start coming back in just to get into the 'pool'. This awards developers for THEIR efforts. If you want to complain to anyone; complain to Mordaunt. This was his idea. We liked the sound of it.
I'd also like to note: Donating to the pool also would TECHNICALLY make Damian the sole beneficiary. Just FYI.

LOL I updated my post. With another reason on why individual versus team. Damian would have legal rights to all POOLED donations. Not us.

This is probably much better than pooling the money as you rightly put. As there is no real "project manager" or owner of sphere present it would be hard to keep these things transparent. Its good that you are finally accepting donations.

You guys did an amazing job since the beginning.
If i ever get back seriously to scripting and do my old project(which is 6 years old), there will be a dedicated 20% of every donation to the sphere community. Because if it wasn't from you, i wouldn't know what i know
I still go here now and then to see what's happening, and i'm getting more motivated every day. Who knows, might be something in a near future ^^

We are working hard on everything.
Trying to get everything up to par. Did some new additions this week. Working on more as I can. We hope to see everyone come back in general to start using Sphere again.
