Hi all
According with the wiki, when i want to use an effect i have to use only items with ID <= 4000.
Is that so even with clients 7.0.x that allows to use items > 4000?
or is something in the sphere core?

I am quite sure there is no hardcoded limit of 4000... I think what the writer was pointing out is that it must be a "base item" (which you can identify as an [ITEMDEF 0xxx] where xxx is a number not a name).
