today, I would like to write a long text via gump and textentry.
bit after 255 chars I got limited...
why is it so?
can´t the dev open it to unlimited or more than 255 chars? it would be nice

why textentry may I ask? (I assume its to submit text, but what can you need over 255? lol)

what do you use if you wanna write down a story ingame via gump and you wanna save it in your sql?
and that´s not the question for what I use it, the question is why it is limited and if is it possible to unlimited it.

Have a look at the 'books' ? Guess you can retrieve the text from those... It's a complete guess though
It's probably split on a page by page basis though, which you don't really want
