SphereSvr.exe simply doesn't start - arka - 02-02-2013 07:32 AM
I simply can' start the sphereSvr.exe
When i dclick it, it says me
"This App can not be started, because the App Configuration is not correct. For solving the problem you should install this app again.."
The server even doesnt start.
I have downloaded the :
September 20 2009, 20:24 Win32 889362 bytes
0.56 Build
Installed
(libMySQL.dll)
(dbghelp.dll)
and the VC 2010 Redistributable Package
Iam running Windows Xp SP3
Is there anything iam missing?

yes you are missing something, you are using a version from 2009 with a VC 2010 Redist... see the problem?
Try getting the VC 2008 Redist, or download a newer version from http://nightly.prerelease.sphere.torfo.org/

hmmm yes now i see the problem
thank you, i will try it out later
since iam planning to run a live shard i think i will stick to the 2009 version

I would recommend the newer nightly builds, but that is you choice
