Shroud and Clients - Art - 11-13-2012 10:51 PM
Greetings.
On 2.0.3 client, we may wear helm and half apron over shroud. But on ML client (also on 4.0.1), shroud covers all layers. I tried to change shroud's layer to helm layer, then was better, but it still covers half apron, also some pieces of armor may be seen through shroud.
I tried to use art.mul and gumpart.mul from 2.0.3 client, but it doesn't help. How i can change it on ML client?

Are you using item 0204e ? Does that client have item 02683 or 02687 ?

Yes i have using 0204e. I use art.mul from Renaissance client, but .exe file version is ML. I tried new art.mul where 02683 item exist, and it displaying ok. But i can't use that item, because many players using 2.0.3 client. Maybe info about 'how to display shroud' stored in some file?

I tried to put ML client.exe into 2.0.3 client's folder. Launched it, with some crashes, but tested shroud view. That 'death shroud' covered all. I just launched ML client with Renaissance client's files. Seems like info about displaying shroud written in client.exe file, but maybe info stored in another resource file? If item 0204e have other displaying in ML client, maybe add shroud as new item in art.mul may help?

I believe the file stitchin.def is the one responsible for that...

Which program is better for editing art.mul (for example,add new item, dress, or change picture of item) ?
