Soulstones - Anarch Cassius - 10-14-2012 08:42 AM Coming from http://forum.spherecommunity.net/Thread-World-Of-Dread?page=4 So I was thinking about what ruins the game for me... unattended macroing is near the top of that list, but I realized there's another thing that pisses me off even more. Something that to me makes paying for items seems positively benevolent. That thing is soulstones. I hate them utterly. I mean the whole idea basically seems calculated to spit in the face of roleplaying and game balance at the same time. Here's a great idea, let's allow players to train skills on characters that aren't even going to use them! That will make muling and abusing training oddities even easier. Seriously? Is there any good thing any one can think of about these objects? What the hell where the designers thinking? Can anyone think of a better use, somehow still related to the concept of "soulstone" that doesn't involve utterly trampling core game concepts?
