SCP - Mordaunt - 10-03-2012 04:56 AM

For the love of god, someone PLEASE tell me what fricken files I need out of the SCP to get the new crafting menus to run...

I don't want any of the rest of it, though it seems to be inextricably tied together, which someone needs a slapping for.

Every time I think I have found what I need when I go to try it it does absolutely BUGGER ALL.

Yes I have pulled the defs out and turned them all on and yes I have added the event.

It's ridiculous!

i think the SCP pack we should be able to turn on or off certon systems or functions with ease but it looks all mixed...

RE: SCP - Extreme - 10-03-2012 06:29 AM

I think is there a generator script that make the craft defnames...
sphere_crafting_generator.scp is the file name...

RE: SCP - Mordaunt - 10-03-2012 06:33 AM

did it already

RE: SCP - xknight - 10-04-2012 02:52 AM

i think there's something for craft menu in Sphere_settings.scp
// Enable or disable the crafting menu for specific skill.
// <boolean> (1 if enable, 0 if not). Default = 1
scp.NewCrafting_Alchemy=1
scp.NewCrafting_Blacksmithing=1
scp.NewCrafting_Bowcraft=1
scp.NewCrafting_Carpentry=1
scp.NewCrafting_Cooking=0 // NOT DONE!!
scp.NewCrafting_Inscription=1
scp.NewCrafting_Tailoring=1
scp.NewCrafting_Tinkering=1

I don't see the reason of the "slapping for". The pack works as a whole, that's the point, not as an amount of scripts (with one file per system or script). If we wanted to do so, you would have a bunch of scripts in the library and not a "script pack". Anyway, from the add-on folder you're gonna need the general files: _pack_msgs.scp, _pack_defs.scp, _general_functions.scp, _events_players.scp, since you have the functions and defs used in every system, also maybe the Skill Gain, Tooltips, some of the files in the typedef folder (like Ingots) and the skill files per each Crafting Skill. Of course, copy the crafting folder.

mordaunt, did you ever get this split out into a package just ready to throw into a server?
