Crushing clients, how to avoid? - WRWR - 09-08-2012 09:39 PM

Crushing clients, how to avoid? Players and Gms just crushed very often.

Using 6.xx clients and latest sphere build. Why it's happen?

I had random crash problem, while trying to use the new builds.
For me, commenting netwotkthreads / networkpriority fixes crashes, but sometimes the clients freezes. After this was doubtfully spell update and I doesn't run new builds on our shard. Also, you can try Shaklaban's settings, it seems, that he has no problem.

this bug make latest builds not workable for live shards

is ef_canseeinclosedconts enabled in your sphere.ini? that flag can cause this problem.

Have you tried to comment(//) netwotkthreads / networkpriority? This changes the situation(settings its to 0 doesn't equal to this). As I write, for me it fixes crashes, but random client freezes and packet reading errors(in console) still occurs. But I have a lot of variable fixes / overrides (including packets), so may be for you it will give an another result.
