It appears as though the @userchatbutton trigger is either broken or has gone back to being hardcoded in the latest nightly.. Also, if patched all the way up to the point where UO uses .uop mapfiles rather than .mul, the map becomes horribly broken if you attempt to use an older client... RE: @UserChatButton - Skul - 08-24-2012 04:16 AM Hmm, I noticed the 'chat' button is completely missing on newer clients, maybe this is a reason @userchatbutton does not trigger? I've always used client 6, and I try to stay up to date, as much as the emulator allows me to be. People have mentioned patching past client 7.0.23.x will create problems with your client and the sphereserver emulator. As for @userchatbutton, try disabling any of the new AoS features and above, keep T2A features enabled. Restart the server and try your script again. Be sure to use a T2A era client (2.x.x). Think of this from a PLAYER perspective rather than an ADMIN perspective... There's gonna be some pissed off peeps |
