How works the default MagicResistance? - Lazarus - 08-10-2012 02:09 AM First sry for my english. here I have some questions. I'm not using the Sphere Community Pack, I'm in the sphere default of nightly builds. 1- How works default MagicResistance? Blocks all spell? how many? when?... all info you have please ^_^ and... a few more. Eval int and Inscription applys a bonus in magery? how works ev. and insc? Thanks! ^_ ^ Lazarus. RE: How works the default MagicResistance? - Shaklaban - 08-10-2012 05:07 AM I think its blocking some non-damage spells (like weaken etc.) but i think its useless. Also default spell calculations are not containing inscription etc. RE: How works the default MagicResistance? - Anarch Cassius - 08-10-2012 07:07 AM Sphere MR predates the elemental damage system and thus I don't think it exempts non-damage spells. I'm not sure it does anything but give messages and raise skill by default actually. If it does anything it reduces the casting strength of offensive spells, damaging or not. RE: How works the default MagicResistance? - Rayvolution - 08-10-2012 09:00 AM So basically, it needs rewritten to work correctly? :/ I was planning on having "overall magic resistance", I don't want the element-specific ones. *adds that to his to-do list* |
