High Seas - Khaos - 04-30-2012 05:01 AM

Okay. This is long awaited and I won't finish this project unless I see how many people really want it or not. I cannot promise smooth sailing (sorry). I can do the rest and if people would like to help that would be great.

As I see it there are several components needed for the High Seas expansion.
  • Standard Item Scripts (Resources, New Base Items, etc)
  • Mobiles (Enemy mobs, NPC vendors, Quest NPC's)
  • Multis: Ships and Misc. (But of course)
  • Fishing Code Update (Needs support for bait, new fishing standards, new fish)
  • Combat System (Naval combat and ground; those cannons affect a lot)
  • Crafting Updates (Cooking, Blacksmithing, Tinkering, etc)
  • Quest Updates
  • Speech File Updates
  • Localization Implementation

This list is pretty concise on the general needs that I can think of at the moment. If people are interested I will keep this post up to date with any work we all do.

I think a lot of the community would love to have high seas. I know I would love to see some boat pvp going on around my shard Wink

Fishing Code and Combat are my biggest desire. Too bad about the smooth sailing.

Then we need to make efforts to get on this project. Every time I spend an entire day script 30 items; keeps me off the main system. Why do I have to code 30 items? They are integral to the system Smile

This is why I was saying, if anyone can contribute and I see some responses on here, I will work on it more. Otherwise I am just going to work on whatever I feel is more exciting Smile. Like Newbie Chest Systems!!!

It is all pretty simple really. It is just a time consuming expansion since it involves another combat system. Before it was Pyro and I doing the scp combat system with contributions from other. Now it seems very solo.
