If people want it, and no one wants to revive the sphere one, I'll happily build a detailed server listing site (no ads, no votes) for just sphere servers, including some extra stats people may find useful like ping to each server from their location etc..
just say and then give me a few weeks to fit it in

There was something started a while back for this, but it can't be used anymore because of it's design and the fact that it's open source.
I would also like to see this come back... I'll see what I can do.

We would need only ONE top list which is google optimized and maybe some adwords.
I think the problem is if we separate top lists to many different sites.
Mainpage would need to have some basic information and UO maybe some general videos to make game interesting for new players.
Each shard would have rights to post blog post for example onec per month(if they want) some news or attractive words about their shard.

sphere servers should have a list for only sphere servers, and a link to the list at sphereserver.net

Create a flag inside sphere.ini at the [server], something like DisplayAtCommunity (I know, I suck with names), inside sphere.exe if this attribute is true it will be submitted a request (with shard name and website that are configured at sphere.ini) every few minutes to some address that will keep the list of active sphere shards.
I like the idea, we don't have any reliable list of active sphere shards and this will provide a realistic scenario.

Yeah having a list of all the active shards I believe would help a bit with population. Would be a nice and easy way to see all the servers.
