Since the last time i've updated this post, many things have changed on the project... So, I'm here today to bring some good news about UltimaPHP and also ask for people to join us to build a brand new modern/lightweight/ultra-fast Ultima Online emulator Now Mutilador (Brazil), Feeh (Brazil) and Leo Sobreiro (Brazil) have joined to the projet and they are helping to improve the server functionalities and decode/write many new packets from newer clients. We'r planning to make the server works in newer clients (6.0.13+ and also enhanted clients, for that we thank Leo Sombrero) and also make the server core adaptable to Sphere-Like, RunUO-like and Wolfpack-like... so there will be no difference if you like Sphere or another emulator style, but dont worry: it is open source, you can build your own emulator style as you wish! The server will be Async (there will not exist "saving" on the server, it will work as modern MMO game servers from today), we'r building everything to be clusterisable-ready (it will open one socket server to manage connections, and as many processing-server your server can to make communicication faster, also with our plan to implement Gearman on the server, with it we will be able let more then 1 CPU proccess the server... pretty cool no?)
