Hi guys, so I am using 51a but in my verdata I have the newer rides.. bettle, ev, drake, skeletal, ridgeback etc. The only way I know this was because I used a verdata viewer and can view their icon number to add them as a shrunken item. The problem is I can only add them shrunken from verdata ID number, and after you ride the animal it disappears, I am guessing because I can't find any char files for them setup in 51a. How would I go about setting these up so they will stay perm in game. Is there pre-made char files and such out there already for them I can use to add them to the char file or what do I need to do? It looks like these rides are stock in 56b..

You don't 51a doesn't support the newer clients that contain these newer rides. You'd have to patch them into whatever version of the game you are running

Hmm, but here's the deal. So I'm running a test shard clone of a friends old shard, and all these rides will work on his and he is running 51a same client 1.26.4b but I just don't have the char files made on my side. I have the files already and can view them in my verdata & animations and can make them in game shrunken from the icon ID and ride them they just don't stay perm bc I don't have char files made for the SphereChar2 I was guessing? If I'm wrong pls let me know, or if I can make a character files based on the 56b and change it to 51a style scripting pls let me know also. I have the icon id's for the animals but not sure about how to find their animation ids.. How would I patch them in if they are already in verdata and animations?

If they are already in your game files then you wouldn't need to patch, but you will need the scripts for them in your server folder in order to make use of them.

Yah that's my problem.. I tried just making a generic char animal script for one and added it's icon ID to the script but I keep getting a man when I spawn, and not sure how to find the animation id's for the new rides either. Is there scripts for these new rides already made somewhere I can use?

Not for 51a... It's no longer supported being that it is old and obsolete

You can try to use InsideUO or Uofiddler for finding the new id

I got the Id's and can make them shrunken, but when I try to make a generic animal file for say a skeletal horse and use a regular horses script but replace it's icon id with the skeletal horses id when I go to spawn the new animal I keep ketting man instead of the animal I made with the new graphic)=

I don't understand well,

You add the monster in game and it appears (not the icon) but it dissapears whenl you try to ride it.

Or, you just add/changed the icon of the monster/old horse and it appears but when you try to ride it it does nothing ?

Ok let me try to explain. I can only produce the new rides from their shrunken icon ID number which I found in my Verdata art using Inside UO. When you make one of these new rides from it's icon ID you get a shrunken version of it. When you double click on the shrunken icon of the animal goes full size and you automount it, but when you get off it disappears. Also no, I can't summon the new rides at all because I don't have character files for them that link to the icon IDs for them. I tried to make one with a regular horses script and added the new ride "skeletal horses" Icon ID to the char script and tried to summon it with the Character file I just made, but it just comes out as a man instead of the character icon I set it to for the skeletal horse.
