lantern light, animation and poison magic problems
hello there is lantern light problem, how can i fix it. there is no light in the west direction

Uo version: Ultima Online 2D Client (9th Anniversary - 6.0.1.10 client)

client I use: 6.0.6.1

try update your i_lantern script, the light pattern on lightsource items is set on MOREZ value, and the correct value for i_lantern is MOREZ=2

or if you prefer, you can also update the entire sphere_item_deco_lightsources.scp file, which some months ago I fixed many lightsource items using wrong light pattern

GitHub has not worked on recent scripts and old scripts.
I guess it is not related to the script.
I tried my client 7.0.60.47 with current GitHub scripts and it works fine,.

the problem continues...

also. these problems are present in 6.0.6.1 client version. with which mul files can I fix it?

but anyway, if you're using sphere 56c, I remember that it really have some problems with light pattern on itens. This is already fixed on 56d, so try update your server to 56d to check if it works

I'm following the nightly broadcasts and using it.

nice finding, I checked these lantern items and current ID 0a18 have incomplete properties when equipped (blame OSI Tongue), correct itemdef should be 0a25 (which works fine). I will update the script pack later

imgs are working fine now, but I doesn't have UO here on this work PC so unfortunately I can't take a closer look at this broken anim for now. But anyway, UO files have many shroud items (02683 to 02687) and I remember that some of these ID's works fine and others really have broken anims. So you can try using another shroud ID to check if it works fine

I am experimenting with these files from the. maybe it happens. I maybe I could.
(Equipconv.def) - (Bodyconv.def) - (chardata.mul). as. as. (anim..xxx)
I am testing UO setup and server clients.

do you use some kind of custom poisoning script?

I'm testing here on an clean sphere (latest build + latest script pack) and both poison / poison field spells seems to be working fine (CombatFlags=0 on sphere.ini)

yes custom poisoning script I use.
but it is not the problem. I tried the clean package, the problem is still the same.
"sphere.ini (CombatFlags=)" adjustment is smooth.
anyway, I will try this problem with a custom script.
