Question Zealots of Khaldun
So I am redoing the NPC code for Khaldun.

I have come to an almost stand still though. Zealot's of Khaldun when killed in human form turn into a skeletal knight for the knight zealot and a skeletal mage for the summoner zealot. Common knowledge for anyone familiar with them.

Here is what is not common knowledge. Do their stats and skills deprecate to that of the new NPC form or do they just reset to their original stats from the human zealot form?

RE: Zealots of Khaldun
If i remember well, they get skeletal knight/mage 's stats when they get killed.

I did a quick search, according to uoguide they just turn into the skeletal versions, without any reference of keeping the original stats values.

RE: Zealots of Khaldun
Yeah I saw that on uoguide and stratics as well. I want it to be accurate. Just seems very odd if they don't get to keep their stats. It would make them super weak, except the knight. His stats would drop but his skills would raise....
As of right now. My code just keeps them at the same stats and skills and sets their hits, stam, and mana back to max values. They won't spawn a new monster but instead change their dispid with a special effect.

Not sure on dropping their stats/skills to their new forms though. Which would everyone like to happen? New stats and skills making them weaker... or keep them as strong for double the challenge?

RE: Zealots of Khaldun
Looking at the loot of zealot knight or summoner,it's similar to the one of "big monsters" like balrons and friends.
Still , both zealots have lowers stats and skills compared to the "deadly" monsters above.
So i think you are right with keeping original stats and skills when they turn in skeletons.

Thanks. I thought that sounded good. Khaldun also isn't supposed to be a cake walk and I thought that the high loot should be awarded through a challenge as well. Thanks for the positive feedback darksun84.
