UOL Terrain to Altitude colors
Basic Rules of Thumb for UOL and some stuff that im adding for informational purposes:
Any Land tile is green. i.e. grass, forests (anything land oriented) this includes Lava and the “blank” or black tiles. ( I found that “Lava Depth” is the only lava that comes in purple and isn’t green) Also, ”Rough Grass” for some reason comes in Blue on the altitude map…
Water is always blue ( I found that waterfalls are also blue but that, “High Coast” comes in purple on the altitude map.)
Rock is always grey ( as rock is what is used to create mountains)
Floor tiles are purple or “other” i.e. planks, sandstone, flagstone, cobblestone (you get the picture)
I ran all the color tiles one by one through Altimageprep.exe and wanted to post my findings for anyone that may not want to do the foot work themselves or have questions about altitude maps and the maps failing to be compiled.

Colors that crash UOL or come in as a color it probably shouldn’t on Altitude:
No Draw - crashes the program but comes out as purple on a single color test
Goblin Forest - Crashes UOL
Grass Without Static - Crashes UOL
Beach Without Static - Crashes UOL
Rough Jungle - Crashes UOL
Rough Sand - Crashes UOL
Rough Grass - Blue altitude color
High Coast – Comes in as Purple
Lava Depth – comes in as purple
I hope this helps some of you Map Makers out there.
