RE: Sphere
Hey all, just thought I would stop by and say hi!

Just a little information,

Prior to the sphereserver site going down, I sent a private message or two telling a few of the DEV's that I was no longer going to be able to host the site, and that a new host needed to be found. This was at least a month before it actually went down.

Anyways with everyone's in real life business / family and such, I did not get a reply in time before the site actually went down.

I did however back the site up completely a few days prior, and do have that backup.

I have sent an email to the administrator here to hopefully start the process of handing over those backups to them so they can get them put into this site.

Glad to see you Damian. I have a question: Are you the owner of license for sources of sphereserver ?

RE: Sphere
okay, i don't want to be aggressive this time. so i edited my post.

You are discussing what ? Sphere is too late about something, I just want to inform you. RunUO emulator, once upon a time you were having fun about, is now way more better than sphere. Because community development > 2-3 people.

If you are really the owner of all license, I really, really dont know what you are trying to do. I see no reason for making this a closed project. Why ? Are you a company, or selling a commercial material ? Or is there something licensed by someone else in the sources ? Why do the community wait for billions of fixes ? Sphereserver would be in some better place now, but you always denied it.

There are many people, who can help with Sphere development, but they can't do it, because the becoming a developer is as "easy", as becoming a state president. Smile And now we have a team from very respectable people... but... about 1 change in Sphere for a month. Sad
