For what its worth, there is no point in putting anything in front of trysrc function... but Darksun has the right idea.

Confirmed, I added a 02 to the end of this and it made the flamestrike animation a dark blue.

I tried this and it does not produce the colored flamestrike at all..
I have tried changing that 02 on the end to all kinds of different colors and no change)=
Anyone how you do change the color of an effect?

For using colors and rendering in the effect you have to use a client > 2.0.0

RE: SRC.EFFECT=3,03709 ,6,43,2 breakdown.
I actually just tried using client 2.00.0b and copied exactly what he has here SRC.EFFECT=3,03709 ,9,30,2,02
and you get a regular flamestrike.. not colored at all. I also tried chaing the color# and no change. Anyone have any idea how to change the color of an effect?

he said GREATER THAN 2.0.0, i would assume that would be a 3.x, 4.x, 5.x or 6.x client, may even work on a 2.0.3 client
