I participated in the beta test for UO, then during the years of game play was part of some of the more prominent role play groups on Baja, which helped get a few player run buildings "blessed" by OSI; The Golden Brew, The Mage Tower etc. That put me in touch with a few Seers who pointed me in the direction of the application process. The application took about 2weeks, then 1week of training, mostly to train on how to deal with colorful people etc. The volunteer program was huge back in then. It was a special time for all.
