RE: New Release?
have u posted the issues u are having with upgrading?
55i isnt that much of an upgrade to 56b tbh, most of the 55i scripts which arent compatible with 56b can be rescripted with less effort than they were on 55i, i had an old 55i script which was huge a while back, that i made a simple 4 line function that replaced it, there is a reason why there is a scripting help section here.
not to mention, u can emulate old school osi features with ease using 56b, again post ur issues and the scripts that u are trying to use on 56b, im sure there are lots of ppl that can help u out in upgrading them to 56b
as far as the scp goes, yeah, the headers arent always updated, but that doesnt mean the actual script hasnt been, revision logs FTW lol. and yeah, there is alot of work that needs to be done on them still, but for the most part they work pretty well as they are, everyone expects a 100% version but only a small few are willing to actually go in and make them that way, it cant work that way tbh, its understandable u want the cake and want to eat it too, but this isnt a cake store, if u arent willing to help make the cake, dont get pissy when ur cake is only partially finished. . . .

RE: New Release?
While the server doesn't show as a "stable" build I find it to be a lot more stable than past versions honestly, I don't update every single night, I may do a couple in a week and then not update it for months.
True you have to add the AGREE=1 line to get it to run, no big deal and yes it says "Nightly" when you log in, does that worry your players?
The SCP should not be considered as up to date under any circumstances, the nightly (default) scripts that are created with each nightly server build are as current as you are going to get at the moment.
Yes they have differences compared to the SCP, including but not limited to a different method of using defnames and yes they should really be updated to use the same methods as the SCP does. However we have 3 devs, each of whom also has to work for a living and does have other things outside of sphere.
Anyone can fix, update or add missing scripts for sphereserver, we have a submissions board, you can post them back there and share them with the community. Yes they can even end up back in the nightly download. Look at the revisions and search "script pack" there are many non-devs who have contributed to it, including Rattlehead.
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
It just takes a little knowledge and some time and effort.
